About Us

Our Founder, Zoel Zohnnie

Zoel is a boilermaker (welder) by trade and an actor through passion. He was born in Tuba City, AZ, but calls the Four Corners area home. Zoel was raised by his father’s sister and is grateful she instilled the importance of serving his community. He lost his father at 17, but feels his father’s presence, especially when he does work like this—delivering water to those in need throughout Navajo Nation. When Zoel told his mom about the water campaign she cried and said, “That is how we are raised—we were taught to be there for one another when we need to be.’”

Being out of work gave me the opportunity to become involved with Water Warriors United (WWU) since May 11, 2020. I’m humbled and thankful to earn the trust of Zoel and am honored to help him pursue the vision of Water Warriors United.
And a special “Thank You” to the Pandemic Of Love and all of the those who contributed to our effort.
